FAQ
At Puppies Of SoCal, the complete satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. Check out some of our frequently asked questions below to get the information you’re looking for. Contact us with any other thoughts or questions.
Are you breeders?
No, we are not breeders ourselves. We work with families, reputable breeders, vets, and dog rescues to help use our network to find the perfect homes for puppies.
Why do breeders/vets/rescues need you?
A lot of breeders, vets, or rescues sometimes do not know how or where to market their puppies in a safe way. They will then reach out to us, and we will help market for them on social media, and various websites. Or, they simply just haven't been able to find homes for their puppies even with marketing and have had the puppies too long, or need to go out of town, or are no longer able to care for a litter of puppies due to their jobs, or home situation. We are able to be with the puppies at our home all day/night long.
Do you have multiple different breeds/litters at a time?
No! We never allow 2 different litters in our home at the same time. If we have 2 different litters, we have a few foster homes we work with to separate the litters. Once we are able to find homes for a litter, we have a professional cleaning service come to our home and deep clean the house, and all puppy equipment.
Do your puppies come with shots/vaccinations?
Yes! All puppies will be up to date on their shots with records and information on when to receive the next round of shots if they haven't already. We work with a mobile vet named Omar that comes to our home to give the puppies their vaccinations if they have not already been vaccinated. We also give every new family his information to continue the vaccination process.
When can I take my puppy on a walk?
The first couple weeks of taking home your puppy, make sure to quarantine indoors with him/her until they receive all 3 rounds of vaccinations. Or if the vet says it's okay to take your puppies on walks.
How much is a puppy?
Rehoming fee for a puppy will range depending on the breed. Sometimes they can start at around $800- and go up to $2,800. All puppies come with vaccines and deworming up to date alongside our support through out the puppy stages! They will come groomed, with their vacation records as well as a puppy starter kit.
Can I meet the puppy in person?
Yes of course! We are located in Irvine by the Great Park, and if you are serious about potentially taking home a puppy, we can set up a time to meet with you.
Can I still get a puppy from you guys if I live in an apartment?
Yes! However we do recommend considering a smaller breed for an apartment dog.
What if we want to return a puppy?
If you got a puppy from us, and truly don't think you can give it the best home any longer, within a week of getting a puppy from us, you can bring it back and receive a full refund.
